Requested changes from the Optics Group to the PDR agenda were done. Any last minute changes to the agenda should be sent to Payne and Wild.
Questions concerning timescales is difficult. We need to have the input from all who work on the packages and get a real answer for this question. If we are going to do this, we need to ask all work groups to return timescales for their tasks. Payne suggest that we could do this at the same time we do the cost documentation. Distinction between Phase I and II task does not really push this task. D&D does not have to be completed before Construction can begin.
A draft report will be distributed. Performance on the design, spreadsheets, drawings, etc., need to be added. The full report will be out to all members by 2001-Feb-12. Bands 3 and 4 have changed. Band 7 has also been changed (similar to 8,9, 10).
A summary report has been sent out. Lazareff discussed this. The dewar for measuring infrared fluxes has been modified.
There is more work ahead. There will be another costing exercise after the Front End PDR.
The optics report has been drafted. The PDR agenda has been completed. Project Book has been updated. Webber has completed the Status and Feasibility of Amplifiers to Cartridge Groups.
Wild has suggested we delay the Decision on Amplifier Stages until we have more information. Discussions on specific issues can be done at the PDR.
The next JRDG meeting will be Thursday, March 1 at 1600 UT.
