Attached to the JRDG teleconference agenda were the list of invitees for the Front End PDR. The external experts are Zimmermann and Blundell; other members of the panel include the DH/TL from each division from each partner. Payne requested comments from the committee. Napier would like for the performance expectations to be stated specifically.
The calibration issue will be added to the agenda. There are specific decisions that have been made (i.e., no cold load in the dewar). However there will be a calibration meeting later this fall and several issues will have to be left open until those decisions are final. If the widgets are being bolted in, they need to be discussed at the PDR.
Do we need to consider receivers for this? Are they going to be different? Due to the focal point on the arrays, the receivers can't be identical, but we may be able to use similar pieces. Either way, the sooner it is known if we are having to do this, the better. Baars discussed his research on this. The scientists are working on this and will meet at the end of February to discuss desirability.

Optics Report is being worked on extensively. Complete draft by end of the week. There will be three separate memos concerning optics (Japanese, Lamb/Carter, and Baryshev)
Mixer/HFET Wiring have been worked on internally. Kerr has prepared and will distribute an ALMA memo shortly.
Preliminary Cartridge Design Dimensions discussions have been on-going. Harman has given Carter a draft which can be distributed to the JRDG.
