Information for the 1997 Atacama Array Workshop

V. Financial Assistance
 
        Travel assistance for the workshop participants is available
with support provided for this workshop by JSPS and NSF.  Meeting
participants from the U.S. will receive complete reimbursement for 
their airfare costs with the usual restrictions (economy airfare only,
i.e. Coach class, on U.S. air carriers).  U.S. participants will
be responsible for local costs, housing and meals, but these should
be minimal--we currently expect the room costs to be approximately
$40/night.  Special consideration will be given for assistance to
young scientists and engineers.
